The Fun in the Sun Kids Triathlon is a fun and safe event designed to introduce kids ages 5 to 14 to the sport of triathlon while raising money to benefit Team in Training (The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).
This Fouth annual kids triathlon is scheduled for Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Greene County Parks and Recreation Center. The event will offer three different distances for the different age categories. Each child will be a winner when crossing the finish line and will receive a goodie bag including event t-shirt and other sponsored items. Finisher medals will be given out at the finish line and special awards will be given to the top finishers for each age. Race details
Family and friends are welcome on the course to cheer on the kids and to document the experience, official finish line photos will be taken for anyone interested.
